About Formosa Plastics

◎ 1954年台塑企業第一家公司-『台灣塑膠公司』創立。
Formosa Plastics Corporation was founded in 1954.

◎ 1957年開始生產PVC，是當時世界上規模最小的 PVC粉工廠 。
At start-up in 1957,the smallest PVC plant in the world at that time.

◎ 1958年起陸續發展迄今成為跨足煉油、石化、塑膠、紡織、纖維、電子、能源、運輸、生物科技及醫療、教育等領域之多元化事業體。
1958 The territories expand into oil refining, petrochemical, plastics, textiles, fibers, electronics, energy, transportation, Biotechnology and medical, education and enterprise of diversification.

◎ 企業總營業額約2兆多元，員工人數9萬多人。
The total business turnover is about 2 trillion (NTD), and more than 90,000 employees.


台化地毯簡介
一、沿革
History

◎ 1968年台灣塑膠工業股份有限公司以「台麗地毯」品牌在市場銷售。
Formosa Plastic Corporation was established “Formosa Carpet” brand in the market in 1968.

◎ 1987年引進方塊地毯 PVC背膠設備，生產方塊地毯，並新增PP及Nylon BCF抽絲設備。
In 1987 FCFC added PVC backing equipment, PP and Nylon BCF spinning equipment.

◎ 1993年改組由『台化公司』成立地毯專案組，接續經營。
Formosa Chemicals and Fiber Corporation (FCFC) take over the factory then set a Carpet Division.
◎ 2001年再擴增PP及Nylon BCF抽絲設備。
Amplified two more set of BCF spinning equipment, one is PP another is Nylon.
◎ 2006年因擴大經營，獨立為『台化地毯公司』迄今。
Formosa Chemicals and Fiber Corporation (FCFC) – Carpet Division was restructured to become a professional carpet manufacturing company – Formosa FCFC Carpet Corporation in 2006.

二、原料
raw materials
◎ 台化地毯使用的原物料70%以上來自母企業提供
Over 70% of the raw materials are supplied by subsidiaries within the Group.

◎ 台化地毯主要使用面紗材質為Nylon、PP。
The staple materials for use are Nylon,PP.

Nylon、PP：
※ 採原液染色方式抽絲，因顏料完全實心染色，故色澤豔麗、色牢度特佳。
Use solution dye method, because the result of completely solid color stain and beautiful color with special color fastness.


※ 可提供抗菌、防蟲、防焰、防污、抗靜電等特殊處理要求，並可視需要於抽絲時一併添加特殊配方，使與聚合物完全融合，故可確保持久性之效果。
Provide anti-bacterial, pest control, flammability, pollution prevention, anti-static, and other special treatment.

※ 除公司自產外並進口品質高級的杜邦ANTRON LUMENA 耐隆紗
In addition to imports ANTRON LUMENA nylon yarn.


三、產品Products
◎ 擁有最新式全電腦控制的各款刺繡機設備，可承製各種精緻圖案之提花方塊或滿舖地毯。
It is equipped with the most up-to-date computer controlled embroidering and dye-transfer systems, with the capability to produce finely-patterned jacquard woven carpet tiles,
broadloom and artificial turf.

◎ 產品種類有一般平面圈毛、平面剪毛及高低圈毛等三種結構，地毯紗則有單股、多股合撚素色或多色混合之選擇；地毯的色澤與圖案上可接受訂製並快速打好色樣。
There are three different type of product: level loop pile, cut pile and multi high/low loop pile. For the carpet yarn, there is single and multi-ply twist or multi-color mixing can choose. Customization is acceptable.

◎ 製造地毯所須原料大部份都在同一企業體內生產、加工，因此供應不虞匱乏，可確保品質穩定。
◎ To offer consistent quality for customer, the Factory possesses a self-production system from raw materials to products.

四、品質Quality

◎ 通過ISO國際品質認證。
◎ adopted by the ISO international quality certification.

◎ 取得中華民國內政部消防署「防焰性能認證合格」。
◎ obtain the Republic of China Ministry of the Interior Fire, "NFA-Non-Inflammable Test qualified certification."

◎ 採用美國3M公司專供地毯使用的保潔處理劑 Scotchgard TM Carpet
Protector，處理後的地毯不會和塵埃、污垢產生親和力，能於纖維表面上形成一層保護膜，不易沾黏於纖維上更容易清理。
Use 3M Scotchgard TM Carpet Protector and it just likes a protective film on fiber surface. User will be easier to clean up.
五、用途與銷售Sales and use
◎ 台化地毯產品適用於住家、辦公大樓、飯店套房、走道及宴會廳、各式商業空間、公共場所、田徑跑道、高爾夫球及各類球場室內外活動場所等，行銷於世界各國。
◎ Formosa carpet products applicable to the home, office, hotel suites, banquet hall and the aisle, all kinds of commercial space, public places, the athletics track, golf course and all kinds of indoor and outdoor activities, and other places.Marketing in the world.
